How to Create a QR Menu — Step by Step

Creating a QR menu is different from building a website — you don't need to write code, just complete a few steps from a dashboard. The steps below follow VelorySoftMenü's actual setup wizard.

1. Enter your menu

You add your categories (Main Dishes, Soups, Drinks, Desserts, etc.) and the items in each from the dashboard. Every item gets a name, description, price, and an optional photo — a photo isn't required. You can also add nutrition and allergen information if you want.

2. Set up your tables

Each table gets its own record in the system, and each one gets its own unique QR code. You generate as many codes as you have tables — the step is the same whether you have 5 tables or 50.

3. Download and print the QR codes

You can download each table's QR code individually as PNG or SVG, or download all of them together as a single PDF for bulk printing. Place them on table cards, stand-up tags, or table displays.

4. Set your branding

In the last step you pick your logo, cover image and brand colors — the menu screen the customer sees when they scan the code carries your business's own identity.

All four steps together usually take about 15 minutes, no technical skills required.
